Anju Ambadi Remadevi hails from Kerala, a region often revered as the cradle of Ayurveda, where Ayurveda is a way of life rather than just a medical practice. Growing up in this environment, and with mother and grandmother in her life, Anju developed a deep connection with the principles of life and Ayurveda from an early age.
She pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda from a prestigious institution, where she had the privilege of studying under highly respected gurus. This mentorship played a crucial role in shaping her understanding of Ayurvedic clinical management and drug manufacturing, providing her with a solid foundation in applying these principles effectively.
After practising in India for several years, Anju embarked on a new chapter by relocating to Sweden with her family in 2015. This move expanded her horizons as she began researching the unique health needs of the local community. Through various research projects, she identified key areas where Ayurveda could significantly enhance women’s health and overall well-being in this new context.
To further deepen her expertise, Anju pursued advanced studies in Ayurvedic Psychotherapy and Dietetics at the renowned Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala. This education enriched her perspective, allowing her to approach Ayurveda with a holistic view that integrates mind, body, and nutrition.
In her professional life, Anju is a teacher, a proud woman, a mother, and a classical dancer. Each role adds depth to her journey, bringing balance and fulfillment. Her mission is to continue growing in these areas while expanding the reach of Ayurveda, ensuring that this ancient wisdom remains accessible and impactful across the globe. She is committed to breaking down barriers of time, geography, and resource availability, making Ayurveda a relevant and enriching part of modern life.
